Handsome Jack holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Washington in Seattle, and currently lives in Los Angeles. He is a regular performer at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, where he has been nominated each of the last ten years as Parlour Magician of the Year.

He is the author of three critically-acclaimed books on the performance of sleight of hand, and has written for Genii and MAGIC magazines, the world's premier periodicals for magicians. He has lectured to magic organizations around the world on how magicians can add entertainment and humor to their shows.
